Mods like overgrowth fallout 43/16/2024 To note, I wasn’t good at parrying or dodging for very long. If I wasn’t parrying or dodging, I was taking a 1-hit kill in the face or where-ever. Some people seem to really enjoy it and found it fulfilling later in the game when it got tougher. Maybe you had to strike first with a thrown dagger and take the another down. ![]() There wasn’t a lot of things to hide behind at times so there was a good amount of hiding and timing your attacks. I got used to it, but even having been used to it, it was still funky. I used a controller and the bindings left me with some contortion tricks to take down people without noise while moving. I didn’t look to mess with the key bindings, but the basic set is odd. I’m a huge fan of stealth and even that mechanic is kind of funky. The combat in and of itself is one of my major gripes. The creators should have known people wouldn’t always do what they are told. I felt it needed more work for those of us who don’t follow directions on purpose. But why?!?! I have no idea what’s going on in the Therium-2 mod. There’s a few mods out the to give you more gameplay hours, but not a lot of official content. My advice, just do what the other anthro’s say, you’ll be less confused and enjoy the experience more. Truth was I had no idea until I received, as my reward, the ending I got and a little light was shined. The main story in that mod says you should take one path and obviously I took the opposite and the mod threw things at me like I should know what’s going on. In a fan made mod Therium-2, if you did this too much you’d skip most of the story. There were points in the story where doing this had me lost in a swamp and had to restart the level because I couldn’t backtrack and get to some place familiar. You could, most of the time, see where you need to go, circumvent the map and jump into the place of interest. I would say fighting, but the levels have a centralized area of play with a lot of room around them. A lot of the game is spent running around (or hopping). If I missed one, I’m sorry, but those were the main ones. Oh, and it’s filled with anthropomorphic bunnies, cats, rats, dogs and wolves. So what exactly is Overgrowth about really? To put it simply it’s 3D platforming/fighting game with stealth mechanics. ![]() Does it live up to my expectations or fall flat? Let me break it down for you.ĭon’t forget to check out the Steam Workshop. Overgrowth has a lot going for it and I’ve been waiting for it for a while. It’s even got a stealth mechanic! If you’ve been on the site for long, You know how I appreciate good stealth. It’s got melee combat and a good chunk of different weapons to utilize on your journey through the landscape. It started looking like a glorified pet project and has evolved into a full-fledged game. If you're going to download and install any ENB, try Overgrowth.I’ve been following Overgrowth for a few years now. It definitely beats the graphical enhancements of Nevada ENB, and most other ENB's. I have tried countless other mods but I must say, Overgrowth exceeds the majority in quality. Overgrowth has always been pleasing to the eye, it definitely improved the graphics by milestones, wasn't too bright, wasn't too dark, and worked wonders alongside Wasteland Flora Overhaul. ![]() Someone please lecture me on Nuclear Fission etc. I always assumed that the Nuclear War caused the skies to be bright and white, and it was just global warming etc. I would love to use Blackout but the installation is a bit weird for me, if anyone knows how to install it please tell me.ĮDIT: Somehow I got Overgrowth to work with FCO AND Wasteland Flora Overhaul, so I'm happy to have reverted back to Overgrowth! It maintains an excellent level of brightness, whereas Jay's is way too bright, still pretty great, but it has always been too bright for my taste, and thus has kinda ruined the immersion. However, I also use FCO, and it seems Overrowth is incompatible with it, because there are missing meshes. Of all, I think that Overgrowth has been the best one (I love the nature aspect). Since I started modding, I used Overgrowth, Nevada 2K17, Dynamo, Jay's ENB, Rudy's (for a bit), 47 ENB 2, Midhrastic, Chromatic Melancholy, and others. » Who Would Win: Ulysses or Joshua Graham? ![]() » HALLOWEEN MOD THE INNSMOUTHS CITIZENS FALLOUT 4 » Tammy's Introduction (Making a PA port) » Suggestions for a Halo Themed TTW Playthrough » Weird facial problem when using Dragbody overhaul
